Joshua Ohlemacher is a husband, father of six, and proud Texan who has called Abilene home for over a decade. Raised in a military family, Joshua now manages construction projects across the Big Country, including at Dyess Air Force Base. He brings real-world experience, a strong faith, and an unwavering respect for the values that define our community.

Joshua isn’t a career politician — he’s a neighbor who believes in limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberty, including protecting Second Amendment rights. His commitment to public service is shaped by real-world challenges, not political ambition.

Whether it’s volunteering in his church at The Well, or helping to manage youth soccer teams, Joshua shows up for his community.

He’s running to make sure the people of District 71 have a voice in Austin that answers to them — not to special interests or party bosses. With bold ideas and a steady hand, Joshua is ready to fight for lower taxes, smaller government, and solutions that put Texas families first.

The Ohlemachers

Texan family, filled with love and Texas values.
